I voted 'when I mention it to the waiter' but it may come up before that depending on where we go (for example, given my new wheat problem, I would not agree to go to a pizza place as there would be nothing I could eat there!)

Mine are not life-threatening, so I don't see the need to make a big deal out of it. But they'll get it when I talk to the waiter :)

Asthma and eczema
Drug allergy (succinylcholine)
Food (corn, raw apples, green beans, tree nuts, flax)
Misc (pollen, grass, mold, dogs, cats)

I always tell them on the first date if I get any inkling that I'd like a second date. I want them to know they shouldn't eat nuts of fish when they are going to see me or they won't be able to kiss me!

I am a young adult allergic to tree nuts, peanuts, fish and seafood but am in love with everything food. I write a blog about my food adventures and challenges.
