I found this recipe on the internet (can't remember where, so I can't offer you the link!). The red meat-eaters in my family love them. The burgers are free of many of the major food allergens, but please do double check and make substitutions as required:

1 lb ground lamb
2 tablespoons chopped mint leaves
2 tablespoons chopped fresh oregano
2 tablespoons chopped coriander leaves
1 tablespoon garlic
1 teaspoon sherry (we used red wine and it seemed to work fine)
1 teaspoon white vinegar
1 teaspoon molasses
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1/4 teaspoon allspice
1/2 teaspoon red chilli flakes
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper

Mix ingredients and form into 4 patties. Grill about 5 minutes on each side. Serve with your favourite toppings in pitas, buns or whatever safe foods suit your needs.

Wow - those look very tasty just in print! I will show to my DH (who loves cooking with herbs) and we will likely try them. Thanks!

They do 'sound' good - and now that we've had a taste test :D

I'm most impressed that they're both eggless and soyless. Gwen
