Hi my name is Karen. Yes, Ihave 6 kids and dearly love every minute of it. My Oldest daughter developed an anaphalaptic allergy to milk about a year ago. We still often have tears and emotional heart breaks almost ever week. One friend or another will have a pizza party or our church will be doing one and she can not go. I am allerigic in the same maner to shellfish and my husband to fish. My 7 yearold is allerigic shell fish as well but so far that is all. I am looking forward to hearing from others with the same trials and beig able to share and get ideas from one another.

6  I'd love to have that many -- but I wouldn't have enough space for them.

Welcome to the forum. Lots of information and sharing of rants, and funny stories. Dive in -- the waters warm (and there are no fish in it ;) ).

Hi Karen!

Before she was anaphylactic to milk, what type of allergy did she have? Was she able to eat pizza with cheese at all prior to the time a year ago when she became anaphylactic? Milk is a difficult allergy because it is everywhere.

Please give us an update of how your daughter is faring with the pizza parties. For birthday parties I usually pack a slice of cheeseless pizza and a safe cupcake for my daugher (severe milk allergy). My daughter suffers from heartbreaks because she feels so alone and she thinks everyone is judging her.

Cheers, LIsa
