The dates have been set for the 2012 AAIA Allergy Camp. Here's the e-mail I got from Lilly Byrtus, Regional Co-ordinator for Alberta/NWT:

Next year's camp dates are July 23 to 27, 2012. You can go to AAIA's website to see some photos and the write-up of 2011 camp. We are partnering with the celiac association next year, so we'll see how that goes! We will potentially have 20 allergy campers AND 20 celiac campers.

Here's the link for this year's camp summary, complete with photos of Kyle Dine, who provided some entertainment for the entire camp, not just the allergy kids. There were some new campers this year with multiple food restrictions, but everything went well, as usual!

Thanks for the information. We are considering making the trip out west to attend next year. We would put both our children in camp and then have a holiday ourselves! Fun for everyone!

13 year old daughter -- lives with life-threatening allergies to milk, tree nuts and peanuts; seasonal allergies (birch, maple, ragweed); pet allergies; asthma; and eczema
10 year old son - no allergies
