I went to the 'curriculum night' at the school last night. I was barely in my daughter's classroom for 2 minutes before I started sneezing. I'm assuming it's all the dust (chalk, etc). Luckily, my daughter is not allergic to dust (not so sure about my son).

I was just curious as to how (those of you who have children with a bad dust allergy) your kids cope with it? Do you give them antihistamines daily?

We're lucky that our boys feel well at their school, but 2 years ago in preschool they both got sick every time they went. Luckily it was only 1 day a week, and yes we used antihistimines. I'm not sure if it was dust, chemicals (there was a new carpet in the room) or something else, but if they were full time there we would have had to switch schools.
