Debbie Bruce, of Canadian Anaphylaxis Initiative wrote to us:
Hi Everyone...

I would especially appreciate getting the word out about the Blue Jays Games out to at least everyone in Ontario.

Gwen, great editorial on the airline issue. This will be very helpful to me and also the article by Nanny Jo. We really need her 'no nonsence' approach advocating for the community. Great work!

Thank you, as always...

:huggy Thanks for the kind words Debbie! Here you go!

The Toronto Blue Jays are pleased to announce that, on three different game dates during the 2012 season, we will be offering a limited number of seats in a designated peanut-controlled seating area at Rogers Centre (the "Peanut-Controlled Zone").

Peanuts and other nuts will not be allowed in a reserved area for these three games. Tickets for seating in the Peanut-Controlled Zone are reserved for individuals with peanut and other nut allergies and their families only. The Blue Jays reserve the right to request a doctor's note.

All persons who will be seated in the Peanut-Controlled Zone will be required to sign a waiver before entering Rogers Centre (persons under the age of eighteen must have the waiver signed by their parent or other legal guardian).

Game Dates:
Monday, May 28, 2012 vs Baltimore Orioles (Regular Game)
Tuesday, July 24, 2012 vs Oakland Athletics (Regular Game)
Friday, August 10, 2012 vs New York Yankees (Premium Game)

I'm going to the August 10th game! I got tickets for my dad and I to go for Father's Day. I'm excited to not be stressing about peanut shells on the ground for once. :pipe
