we use the pillsbury crescent rolls. They do not contain dairy, egg, nut or sesame, so it's safe for us! (but what's in it? scary thought [img][/img]

I was browsing the "Treasure Mills" website and noticed that they have "buns" (as well as breads and baguettes) listed as being peanut, tree nut and sesame free. I know how much those of you with sesame allergy are longing for hot dog buns, etc. -- might be worth dropping them a line to find out more...

I purchased some Pillsbury hamburg and hotdog buns at Walmart in Ontario this weekend. The labels did not specify sesame in the ingredient list and it was not listed as may contain. I have called the 800# and am waiting for confirmation. It appears that this is a US product which was shipped to Canada.
Here's hoping that Christmas has come early and we can start eating hamburgers and hotdogs on safe buns instead of bread :D and just in time for BBQ season
Will post the outcome, when I receive confirmation.
