Everyone - Ana and Bryan Wiggar of Edmonton are making great headway in their campaign to get a Sabrina's Law in Alberta. But they really need some e-mailed support whille they have the Minister of Education's attention.

See Schools: Anaphylaxis Laws / Alberta progress thread. It gives the e-mail add. for the Minister of Educ., Mr. Zwozdesky.

He'll be most persuaded by Albertans. Remember that e-mails don't just have to be from parents of allergic children. Other voters who support the need for legislation (grandparents, friends..) can also lend their support.

thanks, Gwen

Hi Gwen !

My mom lives in Alberta, so I'll get her on it - she does lots to help me. My aunt in Ireland joined the Irish Anaphylaxis Campaign so she could help there on Aaron's behalf.

Thank you so much Gwen!

I am also an Edmontonian and I heard that the government was thinking about a type of Sabrina's law but have sinced been immersed in spring session so i forgot about it!
I grew up with severe allergies when their was hardly any awareness of it. My EpiPen was kept locked in the office, which really wouldn't have helped me much.
I really hope that the law goes through an I will definitely be e-mailing Mr. Zwozdesky ASAP. My parents are both elemantary school teachers and it is better than it used to be, but a lot still needs to be done!

Anaphylaxis to fish, nut, peanuts, soy, birch, and grass.
