Post subject:  Ottawa Sabrina's Law appreciation night

Another good event in Ottawa.
Among the honorees, our Ms. Karen...

The Ottawa Anaphylaxis Support Group (OASG) and Anaphylaxis Canada are proud to host a session dedicated to Sabrina’s Law. As you know, the implementation of Sabrina's Law in Ontario in 2006 was a key accomplishment in advocating for individuals at risk for anaphylaxis in our schools.

During a special OASG meeting on Tuesday, November 6th (7:00 – 9:30), we will honour a number of Ottawa-area residents who have supported Sabrina’s Law. Sara Shannon, mother of the late Sabrina Shannon, will be on hand to help present awards to:
- Dr. Zave Chad, Allergist
- Peter Adams, Principal, Bishop Smith High School
- Clint Young, Former VP, Bishop Smith High School
- Julie Leblanc, Sr. Communications Advisor, Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario
- Karen Eck, Leader, Ottawa Anaphylaxis Support Group

There is still space available for this meeting.

If you are in the Ottawa area, please join the OASG and Anaphylaxis Canada in an evening of information and celebration. Following the awards, there will be brief presentations and discussions on topics related to anaphylaxis management in schools and the community.
