This is being rolled out in Kingston area byTri-Board bussing. Such a good idea:

Quote:
Elementary Schools
Purple Tag - Met at Stop

Red Tag - Medical

Blue Tag - Transfer

The Student Identification Tag Program is a quick, safe, effective means to assist all stakeholders in protecting our most vulnerable students. The identification tags are placed around the handgrip on the top of a student’s backpack.

Students with a Purple Tag will not be let off the bus without a parent or guardian present at the stop.

Students with a medical concern will receive a Red Tag for their backpack to alert drivers of a concern. A Medical Release of Information form must be completed for these students.

Students JK to Grade 3 required to transfer from one bus to another en route to/from school will be provided with a Blue Tag for quick recognition by drivers.
