The Wininpeg Arena now has a peanut restricted zone. Sorry, in the link above you'll have to bypass the Urnial talk to find it . . .) It's section 103 - chosen because it's always available regardless of the event (concerts, hockey, other events) and because seats there are not sold to season ticket holders giving everyone a chance to take advantage. There are 134 seats in the section.

We were at "The Who" this week at the arena and decided to check it out. The area is well marked with No-Peanut signs and and some disclaimer signs as well detailing why the restriction.

I applaude True North for taking this step and hope it meets with great success and little backlash.

Thanks for sharing that! We'll be moving to Winnipeg at the end of this month, so it's great to know we'll have a safer place there to take our son out!
