No mention of sensitivities or allergies though... I'm not sure what the purpose of the article is, other than poking fun at the school board.

Perfume in school could be scent packing
School board may ban fragrances
Toronto would join other cities

Its latest budget mess may smell, but at least Toronto school board staff and students won't, thanks to a motion this week to consider making schools a "fragrance-free environment."

After a heated dollars and cents battle, Toronto District School Board trustees moved from its $84 million shortfall debate Wednesday to another kind of scents.

The board voted to form a "fragrance-free environment workgroup" to look into the possibility of prohibiting perfume.

The rest of the article is here:

16-year-old son: peanuts, nuts, raw egg whites, asthmatic
Self: allergic rhinitis, fragrance/chemical sensitivities, oral allergy syndrome

wow, that's a clear bias on the part of the writer, eh?

i usually get really excited about action taken to tone done scents as someone senstive to them, but this is just basically making a joke about the whole thing!

i realise that like with a lot of allergies and senstivites ppl don't get it cause they don't have to deal, but wow that article is pretty grr cause well it's actually a serious issue to people who have these kinds of sensetivities, i know logically that ppl will never use no-scents just some ppl really need to tone done A LOT
