The FDA has issued a stern warning letter to the division of Pfizer Inc. that manufactures EpiPen and EpiPen Jr. It asserts that “hundreds of complaints” of auto-injector device failures were not adequately reviewed.

Allergic Living reports on the FDA warning letter to EpiPen, and where this leaves the #foodallergy patient and parent: https://allergicliving.com/2017/09/07/f ... omplaints/

This makes me mad in way too many levels. Allerjet/Auvi-Q had a full recall due to dosing issues (though never confirmed) and recalled every single unit. How can EpiPen get away with this? I'm looking forward to reading their reply to the FDA, and what steps they plan to take to solve this problem.

I am very worried because EpiPen is the only option we have in Canada.

Reminder: always carry two autoinjectors - one each from two separate lot numbers!
