Post subject:  bug repellant?

we're getting to that time of year again, and it's gotten me thinking about bug repellant and that i may be reacting to it not getting a million more bug bites, which is why i stopped using it, i noticed today after nearly scartching my skin off that the hives which linger look a lot like bug bites, and it snowed today so i know i've not come in contact with any, sooooo i'm suspecting deep woods off and my skin don't mix

so for those of you with chemcical senstivties, and even scent issues, what do you use? i have some info from the health food store but they only had one kind and it didn't pass the sneeze test, so if anyone has any thoguths i'd love to hear 'em

dustytiger -- we did briefly discuss the topic here: http://www.allergicliving.com/forum/vie ... c&start=15

Can't say that I've yet found one that works 100% -- but if I do, I'll share it here (you too please!) :)

thank you so much, i did scan for stuff, but i didn't look in other topics, but that was definatly a big help, i'm not expectiong anything to %100 i just want something that doesn't make the problem twice as bad, i can't beleive i never associated the extra itchness of the bug sprays to being allergic to it, i feel rather foolish about that

hmmm... the one that caught my eye is cheaper then the one that's sold locally sweet!
