My teenage is looking for a lipstick which does not contain peanuts, tree nuts or milk ingredients. Does anyone know of a brand which is clearly labelled and safe for these allergens? We have been searching but have had no luck so far. Thanks!

13 year old daughter -- lives with life-threatening allergies to milk, tree nuts and peanuts; seasonal allergies (birch, maple, ragweed); pet allergies; asthma; and eczema
10 year old son - no allergies

Hi katec,

I cannot confirm this, but what about Cherry Chapstick? It's not a lipstick, but it offers a nice natural hint of colour. Here's the info if you would like to look into it:

This may be of help. I always double check though just to be sure:

Also something I found which I did not know before:
Unlike food labels, for toiletries, the ingredients can be given in Latin.

Almond, bitter - Prunus amara
Almond, sweet (and almond oil) - Prunus dulcis
Brazil nut - Bertholletia excelsa
Cashew - Anacardium occidentale
Hazelnut - Corylus rostrata/americana/avellana
Macadamia nut - Macadamia ternifolia
Peanut - Arachis hypogaea
Pistachio - Pistacia vera
Walnut - Juglans regia/nigra

US website, notes that peanut oil may be listed as "arachis oil" or "arachidyl behenate"

Hope this helps a bit.
