Here's a place in Philadelphia that has egg-free, dairy free deserts that you can mail order from them. I just called them and the bakery lady is going to call me on Wednesday (thought I'd be too doped up after surgery tomorrow to speak to her). They have a tremendous selection of cakes! I couldn't believe some of the gourmet stuff they offer. Not to mention they have cannolis too! Mmmmmm. It's called Gianna's Grille. I'm not allergic to nuts, so I can't comment on if they are nut safe or not, but I'm just glad to have found another place to order cupcakes and stuff from! Too bad they've got to come all the way across the country though.

This is their website.

The guy I talked to was really friendly, took my name down and even honored my request for a later afternoon call (I'm 3 hours behind Philly on the West Coast). I think he even wrote down that I have egg and dairy allergies as well (I'll mention them again when I talk to her) but it says on the website that their products are good for vegans and people with egg and dairy allergies.

Looking forward to ankle surgery. That's sad when that's what you have to look forward too.....
