Allergic Living first published Ottawa allergist's Dr. Antony Ham Pong's updated Peanut/Nut Allergy Handout in the Summer 2008 issue.

Since then, we've had many requests to view it again. So by popular demand, here is this wonderful, unique resource:

Pls. share the link (and Dr. Ham Pong's hard work!) with friends and support groups. Hope you find it as helpful as we did.

Allergic to soy, peanut, shellfish, penicillin

I guess I am one of the rare ones.

I react when I walk by a nut counter in the mall. Thankfully it is not horribly serious but I know I should not drive until I have had sufficient time to recover. Prolonged visits to that area would not be wise.
I have come close to passing out with candles burning in a closed room because the candles were made with nut oils.

I wear gloves to work out in a public gym because often there are nut oil remnants on handles. It may not be serious but it can be pretty uncomfortable for days after.
