I just heard about this new Canadian company that has clothing and accessories for babies and children with allergies. The stuff looks cute!

I really like the tank shirt with the shark... ... 6-xt05.htm

I would like to see a more interesting dairy one, though. I'm not sure it conveys much of a message as it is...

But I really like that they have some French and bilingual things.

Karen great site -- I really like that the T-shirts are a little bit more "funky" for older boys. More fun than what I've seen before. I agree with you on the dairy allergy shirt - they do ask for feedback, so it sounds like they'd be open to suggestions or changes.

I'm surprised - they even have one for bees.

Tempting to purchase for school trips, when he's off in the wilderness, etc.

I already emailed them about the dairy t-shirt (along with other positive comments). I also said that I like the "general" teddy bear shirt, but would like to see a similar kind of shirt for older kids.

But feel free to comment as well. :)

Just thought I'd mention that Blue Bear Aware has some new products out - I quite like the new dairy t-shirt - really catches your eye!! ... 6-yt08.htm

And they have a new general "Allergy Alert" that would appeal to older kids (with a dragon on it): ... 6-yt09.htm

I went ahead and ordered the black dairy one for my youngest and the red general one for my oldest (in French). :)

That "no cheese please" mouse t-shirt is so cute and smart looking! Love the new red dragon "allergy alert" one too! The company should do very well with innovative designs like these!

Great idea! I wish they'd make up to at least a size 10 though....

I did email them to ask.

For those interested in ordering sizes larger than size 8, this is the response I got from the company:

Thanks for your inquiry, Re:size 10

Was there a particular t-shirt that you were interested in?
If there was enough time in advance of the next t-shirt print run we could organize to do a size 10 for you.
Then I could calculate the shipping and handling manually for you and you could submit a money order.

I hope this helps

Kind Regards,

Elizabeth Cottam

Storm-It's interesting to see how helpful some companies can be! Dn't yuo just feel like forwarding that letter on to Air Canada as an example of how to dea with customer inquiries? I'll bet this company is not expecting you to shell out as much money as Air Canada is, either.

Just noticed that they have new shipping methods/rates. When I first browsed their site, they only had one shipping rate at about $12.00. Now they have 3 options - if you're buying one t-shirt you can choose $5.00 ground shipping, regular at $11.87, or Xpresspost at $20.46.

While I'm thrilled the company is there, they do have a French mistake on one of their French tshirts! Sigh...

I really like their lunchbox though...

Cleo - which one is it? Definitely let them know and I'm sure they'll fix it.

En passant... we just got our order, and the t-shirts are so soft... That was a nice surprise. They definitely are the size that they say they are, too. I have found in the past that some "size 6" t-shirts are huge, but these do seem to look like they are for 6 year olds. I just hope they don't shrink or my very tiny almost 8-year-old will have outgrown his before he gets to wear it much.

Funny story - my oldest, who doesn't like change, DID NOT want a t-shirt. Fine, I said. Then I ordered one anyway so that he didn't complain when his brother got his. And of course my oldest LOVES his new t-shirt and wants another one. Good thing Grandma and Grandpa wanted to buy them one!!

So I'm a happy customer. And the kids are happy too.

Karen - how did the shirts wash up? Did they shrink at all or stay true to their size?

They stayed their same size. I'm quite pleased, although hoping that my 8 year old will listen to reason and let me order him a size 8 next time and not a size 6! He likes his t-shirts "not too big".

And they are sooo soft! Even the tag at the back of the next is soft, which is unusual these days.

So I'm a satisfied customer.

:) K.
