It's a good reminder! It takes a little more work, but it's the only way that I've found to be able to relax and enjoy the meal.

Daughter: asthma, allergies to egg, milk, peanuts, tree nuts, most legumes (not soy and green beans) & penicillin. Developing hayfever type allergies.
Husband: no allergies
Me: Oral Allergy Syndrome, Allergic to Birch trees

They forgot the most important. BE NICE, remember to not sound condescending (even if you don't mean to be) when explaining things, anxiety can make us appear angry...and who wants to serve the angry mom.

AND MOST OF ALL, say THANK YOU, over and over and over if they do a great job. Some genuine appreciation :swing :happydance goes a long way.

Then relax (as much as possible) and enjoy your meal. :banana
