|Post subject:||Mr.Greek= very bad|
I had a bad very experience there a few years ago. I had ate there once before and was ok. So it was valentines day wanted to go somewhere nice, and went there again. Informed the watier of my peanut allergy,tamarind allergy...and double checked all was good and they would not cross contaminate etc.. I ordered the rice/potato with chicken solvaki and a side salad with just plain olive oil and balsamic vinager.
Anyways after about 5 mins of eating I started not feeling well, developed an itchy throat.. got wheezy etc.. Had to take a trip to the E.R.
So after that, I figured it was not peanut because my reaction would have been alot worse ( I have had Anaphalixis Shock before to trace amounts of peanut and almost died, also RAST tested very high)
I tried numerous times to get an ingredent listing to the foods, the resturant nor the head office was willing to co-operate. I was given the run around and promised many times that they would get back to me.
I was informed by my doctor that I could have calld the food inspection agency, I wish I would have known that then!

That is surprising to hear because I have had nothing but a great experience in dealing with Mr. Greek. I have a glutten allergy andI contacted them to see if they had an allergy guide however they said they do not have one available yet. (in the works). They did provide me with a detailed list of ingredients for many of their menu items. They were very patient in dealing with all my questions.
