Yesterday I emailed Kelsey's Restaurants to complain that they didn't provide customers with food ingredient/allergen information. Our family loves that chain but until they can give us the info we need we cannot take our oldest DS there due to his peanut allergy.

Here is Kelsey's response.

Thank you for your e-mail. I apologize for any troubles you may have encountered while dining at our restaurant.

We are currently reviewing our menu and nutritional information and at this point the information is not available.

Thank you for your interest and we are working towards having the nutritional information available to our guests.

I have forwarded your email to our Marketing Department for their further consideration and review.

When visiting our stores ask to speak to a manager if you have concerns about ingredients in our recipes and they can address any specific questions you may have.

We use a variety of fresh ingredients in our recipes, which can be adapted slightly to meet most nutritional concerns.

Thanks for eating at Kelsey's!

SAHM of 3 children. Oldest DS (1999) is anaphylactic to peanuts.

kelsey's is NOT allergy aware at all my friends with shellfish allergies have had NOTHING but bad experiences with kelsey's in various cities!!

she had one where she was told there was no cross contamination and ended her meal with a shot of epi

she also asked at a different one, and the server rather snottily replied "do yousee shellfish on the menu?" rather then looking into it!

just be very aware there

allergies - penicillin, benadryl, dust mites, enviornmental & chemical
conditions - dermatographism, eczema, well contorolled asthma
dietary - lactose intollerant, vegatarian
