Post subject:  Nut free chocolate in Toronto?

I am looking for nut free chocolates for Christmas (something other than the traditional Mars chocolate bar). I know Vadeboncoeur sells nut free chocolates but I am having difficulty finding them at the big supermarkets, where their website seems to indicate they are sold. Is there another brand out there that is readily available in Toronto?

I've come across Vadeboncoeur at Walmart.

Are you looking specifically for *peanut free* labelling, or do you want chocolates made by companies that put a *may contain* if there's a risk?

After Eight has some that are safe (Nestle).

Queen Anne Chocolate Covered Cherries (World's Finest)

ETA: I usually look at Walmart and Zellers. They have a larger selection of candy then grocery stores.

I often find the Vadeboncoeur at Zellers and WalMart too. In the west London Drugs has carried a nice selection including fondue chocolate.

We have safely consumed After Eight regular and dark squares. The smaller versions in bags have a may contain.

We make truffles.

Thanks to both of you! Problem solved! I picked up the vadeboncoeur chocolates at Zellers yesterday. Much appreciated.
