in the season? For myself it's the evil birch tree and grasses that hit hard. This week though, I've found that my asthma has been flaring something bad? I don't know if it's the breeze that's been bringing something with it, or I've picked up a new allergen, or the trees are starting early, or WHAT??!! :dungetit :scratchy

Anyone else in the same boat as me?

I thought I was crazy. Ds's had a runny nose and his asthma is mildly been flared this week. Could be just a fluke but last year he was going full tilt with the environmental allergies by March, the year before it took until May for him to start reacting badly. I HOPE that this is just a little bout and all stays calm for another month or so at least.

Might be snow mold. Air quality is good, and the Maple pollen season has not started yet according to The Weather Network.

Yep, I'm thinking snow mold, too. We're getting a noon thaw most days now-that's uncovering the mold...
Also, pollen might be starting up soon-I'm just a ray of sunshine

I live in Pennsylvania in the US. I use a weather site that has a sat. loop. I notice if winds are from the north or south (watch cloud movement) I feel worse than if they come from the west. I have mostly rhinitis type of allergy.

Perhaps a diary of symptoms and a description of that day's sat. movement would lead to early warnings.

It's a us map. Click on the movie projector to get the loop.

Hope this works in Canada. I see some of Canada on the map but don't know your geography very well.

Here's more than you want to know about pink and gray snow mold: http://www.umanitoba.ca/afs/hort_inquiries/lawns/snowmold.html
