I can't explain how relieved I am to find this website! My husband and I have been living with our one son's allergies for over a year now. I feel that we are much better at handling the day to day in our home but I am the only Mom in my group of friends that has a son with severe allergies. As much as my friends try, they don't really 'get it' so it was such a relief when I started reading some of the comments from other parents. There are actually other parents out there!! They can relate to playdates/with food, avoiding restaurants, stressing over family buffets!

I am soooo looking forward to having this site as a resource for me and I hope I too can offer some tips, advise or even a successful recipe!

2.5 yrs old son-allergic to eggs, milk, avoiding nuts for now, mold, mild asthma, fragrance intolerance.
Dad was allergic to yeast as a child and had asthma.
7 mth old son-no known allergies.

Mom of 5 and Jenn TR-

Glad you found us!

There is nothing worse that trying to cope with a serious condition in isolation!
I have found through this website that I am not alone in many of my views, my fears are not hysteria but logical concerns given the situation. I have found products and recipes that I might never have stumbled on otherwise...why re-invent the wheel?

Daughter: asthma, allergies to egg, milk, peanuts, tree nuts, most legumes (not soy and green beans) & penicillin. Developing hayfever type allergies.
Husband: no allergies
Me: Oral Allergy Syndrome, Allergic to Birch trees
