Hello, Just wanted to introduce myself - I just found this site this morning while trying to see online wether or not Timbits contain soy as I couldn't reach Tim Hortons directly today. We are a family of four with three allergic persons. I have something called Oral Allergy Syndrome (anyone heard of that before or live with it?) that would include nuts, celery and most fresh fruits and vegetables. My daugter has recently outgrown her milk allergy but still seems to be allergic to Soy. My newborn as like her sister has an allergy to soy/milk. Hope to learn lots while I am here. It's wonderful to see a forum related to this topic.

Hello, welcome!

Yes, we are quite familiar with oral allergy syndrom. Check out the different forums and feel free to post a question or offer an answer.

Glad you found us. :)

I would tend to avoid Tim Hortons as they state:
If you have a food allergy, please be aware that Tim Hortons products may contain, or have come into contact with, peanuts, nuts or other possible allergens. Tim Hortons is a bakery environment, serving baked goods that are not in sealed packages. Therefore, we unfortunately cannot guarantee a 100% allergy-free environment.

If you would like more information about ingredients or allergies, please call our customer service line at 1-888-601-1616 (Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time).

Daughter: asthma, allergies to egg, milk, peanuts, tree nuts, most legumes (not soy and green beans) & penicillin. Developing hayfever type allergies.
Husband: no allergies
Me: Oral Allergy Syndrome, Allergic to Birch trees
